It is so difficult to choose the right photographer be it for your wedding or a special occasion. There are some truly incredible artists and a lot of different styles which can make it really tough to choose who is right for you.

Wardrope Photography is all about family. We are a family business and we’ve stayed in touch with a lot of our couples and families over the years. They come back to us with their new arrivals and to celebrate the next chapter in their story and it means the world they want to share those moments with us.

Choosing the right photographer for you

Photographing a wedding is about so much more than just the photographs. It’s about what happens before that photograph is taken, how you feel in that moment and how you remember that day.

To photograph your wedding we want you to look your very best so we include an engagement shoot with all our full day packages and the option to add it on to any of our shorter packages, think of it like your hair and make-up trial but for your photographs! It’s all about making you feel your very best and finding the angles and poses that work for you both as individuals and as a couple. On the day we will use what works and avoid what doesn’t to give you less time posing and more time partying!

We have worked with some incredible suppliers over the years and we can help you find everything from the perfect make-up artist to the very best wedding cake.

Some other things to consider

Style - Bright, colourful and airy or dark and moody? Some photographers offer just one, some offer a mixture and others will adapt it to suit the customer and their style. We offer multiple options and allow you to choose which suits you and the style of your wedding. When you receive your previews you will recieve multiple options which focus on particular colours, some are darker and atmospheric while others are brighter and more vibrant. Just choose the style which suits you best and we will take care of the rest!

The other big question is candid or posed? A good photographer will offer both but a great photographer can switch seamlessly between the two! Even couples who want a completely natural, candid wedding shoot, will often want a few traditional, posed images just to make sure they capture all of their guests.

You might want also want think about pictures which look candid but have a little bit of styling and direction. We’ll discuss this with you when you first enquire and can discuss your plans to best fit your style
